Activation
Celerity: 2 Action Slots
Reach: 1 Tile, or Unarmed Reach
Effect: Clash with your Target.
Achieving victory on this Clash applies the Latched Status between you and your Target.
Response Trigger: Clutch may be also Activated as a response if an Adversary moves through a Tile you can reach with an open hand.
Latched
While you are Latched, neither you nor your Victim are able to use Movement Actions, or benefit from Movement granted by Actions.
Latched Ends Momentum Status if the Victim had it active.
In most cases you may choose to end your Latch at any time.
Caveats
If your Victim’s Load Weight is more than twice your Max Lift, then they may still use Movement Actions.
Forced Movement applies to both you and your Victim.
Original Grip: When initiating a Latch Action the original (v:20 + Modifiers) becomes the Static Threshold for any additional Clashes related to the Latched Status.
For the Victim to free themselves they must spend 2 Action Slots and succeed a Clash against your original Latch Clash.
You may choose to release them when they attempt this Clash. If they succeed they will move away from you 1 Tile.
