Origin
Before genetic testing became possible it was thought most of the Humanoid Subspecies shared a common ancestor. We now know for sure. Where each of the subspecies come from shows great insights on how the natural selection process favors successful biological traits.
With the intermingling of subcultures brought together by a myriad of reasons for use by the greater whole of Vaia, hybridization has become nearly as common as pure blooded individuals. The last two to three decades have seen public disdain for hybrids swell to a maxim and quickly diminish into general acceptance.
Cultural Expectations
Growing up fast is a key point for Origin Species. Apprenticing for a craft is the standard from Mediva to Amcor. Youth and early adulthood is spent in pursuit of mastering life skills and transitioning hobbies into the day in day out routine. Mid life is spent supporting family and friends, and aging eventually catches up with everyone.
With few exceptions, Origin Species are home bodies. Adventurers are common enough for there to be real heroes and household legends. Early adulthood is a time when adventuring seems more lucrative than dangerous. Getting all the spoils while blind to danger a curse of many who never saw a day past Twenty.
Origin Subcultures
The Origin Subspecies tend to stick to themselves. While individual adventuring parties nearly always break the norm, the districts of the common folk tend to have a good majority of one kind or another. Prejudice is quashed and outright vilified in social norms as well as media. Most Factions are open to anyone and everyone but there are still an abundance of so-called isolated incidents of intolerance cases.
