The Datascape was built in the Amcel as a connection between computer units over long coils, then quickly evolved into much more.
Ideology
The Datascape has no public identity. Every location has their own unique way to connect to the service from magical to technological. All while thousands of small organizations beneath the Datascape provide the service as proxies.
Sphere of Influence
The Datascape’s largest influence is the Molthern Time Scale. Earlier periods have limited access, and later periods are less influenced by the designs of the Datascape Feed.
Reputation
The reputation of the Datascape varies so wildly from person to person, there isn’t any real way to nail down a general sense. It’s a life saver for those who need to communicate, and a death sentence to those who get addicted to entertainment.
Leadership
In Amcel, there are a Mescrit and a Niym who are credited with creating the Datascape. They’ve managed to remain anonymous during the span of the empire.
Membership
The Datascape is made up of several thousands of smaller companies. Their employee estimates in the hundreds of thousands from those who maintain the lines to those who sell products and services. As well as an uncountable number of entertainers and other service type providers available.
Faction Correlations
Datascape handles communications between most of the factions.
Potential Reach
The Datascape is extremely strong in the later timescales, but its reach is limited in the earlier tech tiers.
