Featherites
The must have throwing knife dagger hybrid. Featherites were mass produced throughout the Mediva, Renisans, and Molthern periods by Carbrite Armaments. Every Featherite is unique, while their main design is consistent, the exact feathering of the edge is always slightly different.

The Original Concealed Weapon
Throwing Knives are a staple for the cloak and dagger. Featherites don’t make the best melee weapon, but they excel as thrown weapons.
The Featherite Style
The Featherite Style Actions may be used with any weapon provided they have the right qualities. Unlike other Ranged Weapons who have Ammunition, Featherites and other Throwing Knives are based on Durability. Each Throwing Knife has 5 Durability. For Featherites the stack starts at 50 Durability.
This mechanical simplification does not apply to Weapons granted the Throw Quality from another source, and those weapons have to be retrieved if thrown to use again. To retrieve a weapon, it must be within 1 Tile of you, and retrieval takes 1 Action Slot.
For the purpose of Recovery, up to the maximum durability of Throwing Knives may be recovered by rolling a (v:10) after the engagement. This recovers the result x 5 Durability to the Throwing Knife stack.
Throwing Knives may be recovered during engagements if they are within 1 Tile of you for 1 Action Slot each.
If a single Throwing Knife takes 5 Durability Damage it is destroyed. (Just like destroyed ammunition)
Throwing Knives may be used to Deflect and Parry.
Featherites and other Throwing Knives do not have a Draw Speed as long as the Character or Unit has a free hand when it comes to the Activation of Featherite Actions.

Featherite Intermediate Techniques [a]
Featherite Shift Strike
Strike a target in melee while moving.
Growth Points: 5
Celerity: 3 Action Slots
Requirements: A Melee Weapon
Durability: 5
Reach: 1 Tile
Damage: On Hit, (v:4 + Raw Potency x Focal Potency)
Move 1 to 3 Tiles while Activating Shift Strike. If the Activator has the Momentum Buff, it is not lost during Shift Strike.
Featherite Mobile Toss
Strike a target in melee while moving.

Requirements: A weapon with the Throw Quality.

Damage: On Hit, (v:4 + Raw Potency x Focal Potency)
Move 1 to 3 Tiles while Activating Mobile Toss. If the Activator has the Momentum Buff, it is not lost during Mobile Toss.

Featherite Reflexive Strike
Strike an attacker as you dodge out of the way of their attack.
Growth Points: 10
Requirements: A weapon with the Throw Quality.
Response: A targeted attack misses you.
Celerity: 0 Action Slots
Durability: 5
Range: 10 Tiles
Damage: On Hit, (v:4 + Raw Potency x Focal Potency)
Movement: Move up to 1 Tile.
Any time a targeted attack misses you, you may Activate Featherite Reflexes as the Response targeting the Attacker. Only 1 Action may be Activated as a Response to any given Action.
Featherite Split Toss
Throw two Featherites at once at one Target or split between two Targets.

Requirements: Two weapons with the Throw Quality.
Durability: 10
Range: 10 Tiles
Damage: On Hit, (v:4 + Raw Potency x Focal Potency), Each.
Make two separate attacks with the same Action using two different To Hit Accuracy Checks.

Strike a melee attacker when they hit you.

Requirements: A weapon with the Throw Quality.
Trigger: A targeted melee attack hits you.
Celerity: 0 Action Slots
Durability: 5
Reach: 1 Tile
Damage: On Hit, (v:4 + Raw Potency x Focal Potency)
Follystrike: Gain a +3 to the Accuracy Check to Hit. This also increases Base to Hit for the action by +3.
Any time a targeted melee attack hits you, you may Activate Featherite Follystrike as the Response targeting the Attacker.
Featherite Fan
Throw a Featherite at all nearby Targets.
Growth Points: 25, Featherite Split Toss
Requirements: # of weapons thrown with the Throw Quality.
Celerity: 4 Action Slots
Durability: 5 x # of Targets Chosen.
Range: 3 Tiles
Damage: On Hit, (2 + Raw Potency x Focal Potency)
Throw a Featherite at every chosen Target within 3 Tiles which you have enough Durability or Throw Quality weapons. Each Target requires a separate Accuracy Check.
Featherite Advanced Techniques
Featherite Through-and-Through
Featherite Toss Actions pass through their Victims and hit all Victims behind them in a Line.
Growth Points: 50
Requirements: A weapon with the Throw Quality.
Action Rider: Amp any Featherite Toss Action.
Activation: Accumulate 1 Physical Stress
Featherite Toss Actions may become Line Area of Effects, hitting all victims in the Line with the same amount of damage potency as the base action.
Featherite Strike Toss
Immediately after a Strike, throw your Featherite.
Growth Points: 50
Requirements: A weapon with the Throw Quality.
