Basic Gear

Basic Gear has it’s simple effect, and at the discretion of the Story Guide, may be used to perform non-standard Actions.

Crafting: Each individual Basic Gear item has a root craft. If a Character has the Root Craft unlocked, they may craft any of the Basic Gear Items provided they meet all the other requirements. If the type of Crafting isn’t yet available, the type will be shown, and one of the currently available crafts will be assigned to it as a stand in.

Casual Clothes

For each set of casual Clothes:

Note: We gloss over clothing fairly often. I wouldn’t get caught without at least one set. “I like some Style, and my Style isn’t my Birthday Suit, ya?”

Blanket

A blanket may be fairly large, a sleeping bag, or even a cloak. During colder nights it is sufficient to prevent hypothermia, and on hotter nights it is fairly good at keeping the bugs out.

Note: When we display Temperatures, we are not using exact conversions for Fahrenheit and Celsius. They’re close.

The Developer

If you stumbled here by accident, that’s all gravy. We use these pages in our archives as templates, style guides, reference content, and reusable assets. I’m also getting to write the FAQ, which is fun.
