Effect Trees - Overview
While the Origin Core makes the center of your orchard, your garden, the effect trees you buy into with your Potential define your character’s unique mix of abilities and actions. The Origin Core is the base from which your garden grows around and loosely defines the basic archetypal structure of your character’s concept.

Growth
As we gain our Potential from Total Experience Gained, we may spend these points on any effect we meet the requirements for which has a Potential Cost.
Minimized and Maximized
Having purpose is important. When our purpose is called upon and we have a moment to shine, the reward often matches the efforts. When it comes to the scope of possibilities in a role playing game, it is not always necessarily optimal to focus on one element over another. Well diversified characters often have more moments they may shine in.
By Design
In our musings we’d like to make available both the classic archetypes and our home grown class concepts. We’re more interested in hosting an environment where the individual is as complex as their nature permits. The choices the player makes about their character’s growth should be limited only to the design the player wants to embody.
