Mnemonic Memory

“Remember.”

Mnemonic Memory

You’re capable of memorizing short pieces of information, and also have a chance to remember things you weren’t paying attention to at all, such as rumors floating around hangouts, and small bits of overheard information while traveling through crowded streets.

Effect: Preparations which normally require recording information for personal use may now be prepared without the normal medium.

Recall: If you have an empty Mnemonic Slot you may spend it on recalling information

Mnemonic Slots: You may have a number of Mnemonic Memories equal to 5% of your Awareness Score. Once these memories are recalled, they are consumed. Mnemonic Slots may be used in the absence of Spell Mediums.

Vacating Mnemonic Slots: You may reclaim Mnemonic Slots at the rate of 1 Slot per 10 Minutes out of your daily Routine allotment. Information lost this way can only be reclaimed by another mnemonic device, such as a journal. Without such a trigger, the thought just sits on the tip of the tongue for the character, Meta knowledge of the player should be handled appropriately.

Note: As we release more content, Mnemonic Slots will be able to be applied to multiple vocations and effects.

The Developer

If you stumbled here by accident, that’s all gravy. We use these pages in our archives as templates, style guides, reference content, and reusable assets. I’m also getting to write the FAQ, which is fun.
