Leveling up, especially past level 50, begins getting more difficult. The engagement has to actually be life threatening to provide experience and growth points. The Trials of Ulmdom are a mix of scenes. Not everything is related to combat. Persistence is the key to growth.

Among all the ways to become Ulm, it is through the process of growth through trial and sacrifice. Ulm is a title not to be taken lightly, it is only by reaching the pinnacle of potential and still understand there is room to be more.
By Design
There are multiple ways to improve a character beyond the simple processes of completing story arches or gaining enough experience to “max” out the level value. While level 100 is what we call the cap, it is possible to go far beyond it. Level 101 is obtainable, and so is 10,000+. Level 100 is only the line which attribute increases discontinue.
