Ice [i]
“Ice magic may be the most common of all elemental abilities, though most casters are not adept enough at the ability to cause Frigid Frangibility, it is common for the preservation of foods, chilling of drinks, and cooling off on a hot day. Ice is formed in the calmness of mind. The more still the mind, the colder the elemental presence.”
First Rest of Ice
Those of us who were born without being haunted by elemental spirits won’t bond with a Frostlight unless we get hypothermic in true cold or suffer frostbite. When a Frostlight becomes a part of you. A place of easy quiet nests itself in your mind.
Note: Elemental Magic may also be considered Arcane Arts. Feel free to eschew the elemental angle for other reasoning that suits the character.

Ice-Bearer
Althri grew up as the Ice Bearer in the harsh Southern Wastes. As a child, the Village Elder demanded a bodily sacrifice of Althri. The clever boy offered his pinkies. When the frostbite took hold he sliced them off, and a desert ice spirit stirred to life. He awakened in that moment to the Ice as the crystals formed floating around him.
Each day Althri would spend his time at the well, forming water and ice for hours until it was full. He filled the cups of the villages that visited him. They never needed for water, and he never wanted for what they provide.
