Maybe you’re old and have made the decision to live forever. Maybe you’re a live trial of the latest technologies rolling out of the core. Some military experiment you were signed up for to become the ultimate weapon. Maybe, just maybe, you were on the verge of death by poverty, homeless, and disappeared off the streets into the lab of some mad scientist. Not too many other ways to get a Cranial Implant aside from spending nearly a million credits.
Awakening: The implant has gone online inside of you. You can feel nearby electronics, and in a way, communicate with them. Your toy drone moves in the same sense as if you were moving your own hands, and now you feel a little naked while it is charging.
Ah the play might be over however. They’ve noticed.
In-Humanity
Becoming an AM-Child was an easy decision. A ticket to a better life, but it eventually came to cost me my humanity. Now, I wonder, though I know my brain tissue is alive and thriving from my scans, whether I am even alive or not anymore.

Little Helper
Both Talents unlock their Root Effects after a minimum amount of time active.
Search & Feed
Knowledge is a thought away. Static infodumps and immediate access to any and every live data feed. If you don’t know it, you’ll know it in moments. The live data keeps you in the know from nearby crime watch, semi-public closed-circuit camera feeds to any and every active news feed.
Passive: You have visual access to camera feeds in up to a 1 kilometer radius around you. You have access to The Feed, which updates you with real time live news.

Note: Search & Feed is a “Within Reason” ability. On the Storyteller’s side of the fence, it is an excellent way to push story hooks and provide outside information to the party through the player with a Cranial Implant. Discretion is advised.
Mastery: Search & Feed unlocks Data Mind [i] three days after Awakening.
Little Helper
You’ve got yourself the greatest toy. This is the little robot that could. Most Little Helpers are in the form of small animals. They have a grasper that is as dexterous as a human hand. They can carry up to 10 kilograms. They also have a two way speaker and microphone. So you can chat or listen in with the world near your Little Helper.
Specs: Little Helper uses your attributes for all of its abilities and effects, as it is as effective as the one who maintains it.
Remote Range: 2.5 Kilometers
Grasper: This can be imagined how you want, but the Little Helper may act as an extra hand, writing, typing, or organizing your room.
Offensive Capability: Little Helper may move up to 5m, 15ft each full round and make one attack. (v:20 Accuracy), (v:4 + Strength) without any need for additional guidance.
Defensive Capability: Little Helper has an Evasion of 12 + Awareness. Little Helper has a Durability of 5 x Awareness.
Charging: Little Help is solar powered and has an Arc Rod. Hitting Little Helper with the talent Arc charges its battery for 10 hours. Stronger Lightning effects such as Discharge will only do damage and not charge Little Helper.
Repair: Little Helper requires 1 minute of repair time for each point of lost Durability.
Mastery: After Little Helper has been active for three days, Drone Swarm [i] is unlocked.
