Pain Point

When determining Potency, you may forgo some of the damage to cause the Victim a state of Agony.

Growth Points: 10 Growth Points
Requirements: Level 1

Celerity: +1 Action Slot or +1 Reserved Slot

You reduce your pre-Focal Potency damage by 5, and apply Sudden Agony to the Victim, if your Action does not result in at least 5 Potency, this effect may not be applied.

Sudden Agony: Units and Special Units who are Victims of Sudden Agony may not take any Actions until after the next re:Cycle. Characters who suffer Sudden Agony take on 2 Action Debt or lose 4 Action Slots or 4 Reserved Slots.


Runner’s High

Taking a daily run keeps your body fit and ready for high mobility actions and helps with keeping the body healthy.

Growth Points: 10 Growth Points
Requirements: Level 1

Routine: 30 Minutes

Completing the Run heals the Runner (2v:12) Hard Damage.
Runner’s High may only be Activated once per day for 30 Minutes as part of the Routine.


Swift Step: 1 Tile

While performing an Action, you may Activate Swift Step to quickly move to a new position.

Growth Points: 5 Growth Points
Requirements: Level 2

Physical Stress: (v:10@1) Accumulate 1 Physical Stress.

During another Action, you may move 1 Tile with the chance of incurring Physical Stress.


Momentum Burst [i]

With a Burst of Speed you go from 0 to 100 real quick.

Growth Points: 5 Growth Points
Requirements: Level 3, Runner’s High

Celerity: 1 Action Slot or 1 Reserved Slot
Physical Stress: Accumulate 1 Physical Stress

Move 2 Tiles and you gain Momentum Status.
Your next Action may be an Action or Effect which requires or consumes Momentum.


Momentous Dodge

You may sacrifice your Momentum to force a Melee or Ranged Attack Action to miss you.

Growth Points: 5 Growth Points
Requirements: Level 4, Momentum Burst [i]

When an Action which uses an Accuracy Check to determine whether or not it will Hit you, if you have Momentum, you may sacrifice your Momentum Status to force the Action to miss.


Exploit the Occupied [i]

Taking advantage of Occupied Adversaries allows you to hit them where it will do the most damage.

Growth Points: 25 Growth Points
Requirements: Level 5, Pain Point

Requirements: Your Target or Victim must be Occupied and you can not be their Focus Target.

Your damaging Actions gain an additional 1.0 Focal Potency against Occupied Adversaries.

Notes: If you are the Adversaries Focus Target, Exploit the Occupied does not apply.


Swift Step: 2 Tiles

While performing an Action, you may Activate Swift Step to quickly move to a new position.

Growth Points: 10 Growth Points
Requirements: Level 6

Physical Stress: (v:8@1) Accumulate 1 Physical Stress.

During another Action, you may move 2 Tiles with the chance of incurring Physical Stress.


Momentous Dive

You may sacrifice your Momentum to leap out of the way of an Area of Effect.

Growth Points: 5 Growth Points
Requirements: Level 7, Momentous Dodge

When an Area of Effect is declared which would hit you and you have Momentum, you may sacrifice your momentum to move up to 3 Tiles. If this distance is enough to move you outside of the Area of Effect, you take no damage nor do you suffer any effect of the Area of Effect. You are Grounded by this effect. Momentous Dive is considered a Leap, and ignores terrain and floor trap triggers except for the Tile you land in.


Accelerated Collides

While you benefit from the Momentum Status and Activate a damaging Melee Action which uses Reach instead of Range, you deal more damage.

Growth Points: 25 Growth Points
Requirements: Level 7, Momentum Burst [i]

Requirements: Must have the Momentum Status Active.

As part of Activating your Melee Action, you expend your Momentum Status to increase your Focal Potency for the Action by 1.0.


Momentum Burst [ii]

With a Burst of Speed you go from 0 to 100 real quick.

Growth Points: 15 Growth Points
Requirements: Level 8, Momentum Burst [i]

Celerity: 1 Action Slot or 1 Reserved Slot
Physical Stress: (v:4@1) Accumulate 1 Physical Stress

Move 1 to 3 Tiles and you gain Momentum Status.
Your next Action may be an Action or Effect which requires or consumes Momentum.


Swift Step: 3 Tiles

While performing an Action, you may Activate Swift Step to quickly move to a new position.

Growth Points: 25 Growth Points
Requirements: Level 9

Physical Stress: (v:6@1) Accumulate 1 Physical Stress.

During another Action, you may move 3 Tiles with the chance of incurring Physical Stress.


Exploit the Occupied [ii]

Taking advantage of Occupied Adversaries allows you to hit them where it will do the most damage.

Growth Points: 50 Growth Points
Requirements: Level 10, Exploit the Occupied [i]

Requirements: Your Target or Victim must be Occupied and you can not be their Focus Target.

Your damaging Actions gain an additional 2.0 Focal Potency against Occupied Adversaries.

Notes: If you are the Adversaries Focus Target, Exploit the Occupied does not apply. This effect replaces Exploit the Occupied [i]
