The Absolute Unit standing in all his glory. The typical Absolute Unit prioritizes their health and physique over pursuits of the mind. Instead of honing a craft or spending their time studying, they build and maintain their bodies in peak condition.

Physical Training

Daily Physical Training is part of what keeps a Character fit and healthy and pushing to higher Physical Ability.

Growth Points: 10
Requirements: Level 1

Routine Practice: 1 Hour

Gain one stack of Fit & Healthy for 24 Hours

Fit & Healthy: Increases Hit Points by 10, Raw Potency by 1, and Max Lift by 10 Load.

Caveat: Physical Training does not require special equipment, domicile options, or otherwise. While Malnourished, a Character can not benefit from Fit & Healthy.


Clutch

You Grab em’

Growth Points: 10
Requirements: Level 1

Activation
Celerity: 2 Action Slots
Reach: 1 Tile
Clash: Gain a +2 Bonus to Latch Clash.

Trigger: Clutch may be also Activated if an Adversary moves through a Tile you can reach with your open hand.

Effect: While you are Latched, neither you nor your Victim are able to use Movement Actions, or benefit from Movement granted by Actions, unless your Victim exceeds your Load Weight.

Caveats: You may release the Latch anytime.

For the Victim to free themselves they must spend 2 Action Slots and succeed a Clash against your original Clutch Clash. You may choose to release them when they attempt this Clash, they will move backwards 1 Tile.

If your Victim’s Load Weight is more than double your Max Lift, then they may still use Movement Actions, but you will remain latched with them. Forced Movement applies to both you and your Victim. Clutch Ends Momentum Status if the Victim had it active.


Burdenless

Growth Points: 5
Requirements: Level 2

Passive Adjustment: All Load Carried as part of Every Day Carry is ignored when calculating Max Lift.


Toughened

Growth Points: 5
Requirements: Level 3, Physical Training

Passive Adjustment: Your Hit Points now equal 15 x Strength + 10 x Vitality.


Dig Deep

Growth Points: 5
Requirements: Level 4, Burdenless

Passive Adjustment: Your Max Lift is now (100 Load + 10 Load x Strength)


Clutch: Drag

Growth Points: 25
Requirements: Level 5, Clutch

Passive Effect: Your bonus to Clutch Clash is now +3. While it is your Active Phase, you may move and drag your Victim. You can not benefit from Momentum. You can not Drag a Victim who weighs more than twice your Max Lift.


Leatherskin

Growth Points: 10
Requirements: Level 6, Toughened

Passive Adjustment: Increases Raw Mitigation by a Third of your Strength Attribute Score, minimum of 2.

Caveat: If a Character has Leatherskin from two or more sources, Raw Mitigation is increased to 1/2 Strength.


Enhanced Natural Healing

Growth Points: 5
Requirements: Level 7, Leatherskin

Passive Adjustment: When recovering from Hard Damage through Natural healing, you heal 5 Hard Damage, instead of (v:4)


Stem the Flow

Growth Points: 25
Requirements: Level 7, Leatherskin

Passive Adjustment: When an Action or Effect would apply Bleeding Counters or Hemorrhaging Counters to you, you instead take the weapon’s damage type in damage and no counters are applied.


Unchecked Lift

Growth Points: 15
Requirements: Level 8, Dig Deep

Passive Adjustment: Your Max Lift is now (100 Load + 20 Load x Strength)


Clutch: Slam

Growth Points: 25
Requirements: Level 9, Clutch, Clutch: Drag

Activation
Celerity: 3 Action Slots
Reach: 1 Tile

Effect: You Slam the Victim of your Clutch into an Adjacent Tile. If the Tile is Occupied, make an Accuracy Check to determine if Slam Hits the occupant. Both your Victim an any Object or Target they hit take (v:6 + Raw Potency x Focal Potency)


Advanced Physical Training

Daily Physical Training is part of what keeps a Character fit and healthy and pushing to higher Physical Ability.

Growth Points: 50
Requirements: Level 10

Routine Practice: 30 Minutes

Gain one stack of Fit & Healthy for 24 Hours, you may repeat this Routine up to 5 Times a Day.

Fit & Healthy: Each stack increases Hit Points by 10, Raw Potency by 1, and Max Lift by 10 Load.

Notes: Physical Training does not require special equipment, domicile options, or otherwise. While Malnourished, a Character can not benefit from Fit & Healthy.
