Currency
Outer Cloister
For the most part, Outer Cloister and beyond trade and barter for goods and exchanges. There is a two coin system for Capital. Laborer’s are paid in Royal Stamps and Common Stamps. A Royal Stamped Coin is worth 100 Credits. A Common Stamped Coin is worth 10 Credits. These coins can be banked at any Moln location for Credits.
Moln Note: When outside the Inner Cloister where the Crew Key can’t be swiped to make purchases and pay debts, currency is exchanged either with the stamped coins or Moln Notes. A Moln Note is essentially a Check. A non-decimal amount is written on a Moln Note and it has that value. Few places accept Moln Notes and services or goods purchased with them are usually placed in holding until the verification and transfer of funds is completed. Moln Notes may only be obtained at Moln locations, and are unique to the individual and their account.
Gate Exchange
When traveling between the inner and outer cloister, a character can exchange their stamped coins for Credits in their Crew Key Accounts. On their way out they may buy Stamped Coins at the fixed exchange rate. 100 for Royal Stamps or 10 for Common Stamps.
Inner Cloister
Within the inner cloister of districts of Mol-Thern, Amcell, and Amcore our Crew Keys, or Credit Wallet Keys are issued at the gates.
Credit Wallet Key: This slim card is a combination identification, license, credit wallet, bank, and key card. These keys are issued annually and can be replaced by gene identification at any Ahn-Tallah outpost or in any front facing public office.
New Keys: These keys are issued to any tourist or other travelers.
Residents of Mediva and Renisans as well as tourist or other travelers upon leaving the Inner Cloister get their memories altered. Forgetting about technologies, their slightly altered perceptions relegate the technologies they viewed as advanced magic.
