Aescri

The Great Spirit of Scribes

PantheonUlmfae Spirits

The Great Spirit responsible for the generation of ideas and their manifestation to reality from the runes and symbols embodying their essence. As children, Aulrufae will be called Aescri by parents and tribe when they align with the passion and focus it takes to master the written languages both symbol and meaning.

The Great Spirit Aescri is an interesting bill of thought. Writing itself has power. The uniqueness of the handwriting has as much power as the words the symbols represent. There are entire Aulrufae tomes on the subject. In the writing we predict the future as we share the past.

Aescri in art is depicted as any scribe focused on their work. A scroll and a pen held by anyone anywhere busy at putting ink to paper is a gentle reminder of the presence of Aescri.

Shrines of Aescri

In many libraries their are tables where anyone may go to study, write notes, and practice quiet Runscriptia. Those believers and donors for Aescri often donate parchment, ink, and quills to libraries to keep these shrines stocked with offerings to the Great Spirit.
