Resistances
Each Resistance is applied to a specific damage type. Resistance is always a percentile value. It is possible to have 100% Resistance.
It is also possible to push Elemental and Divine Resistances beyond 100%, at which point it becomes Absorb. For every 10% of Resistance above 100%, a Character has an Absorb Value of 1. Absorb heals the Character up to their Total Absorb Value, and the rest of the damage of that type is simply mitigated.
Note: Physical Armor which has more Resistance than 100% take increased damage. For instance, a piece of armor with 250% damage resistance takes 2.5x the Potency of a damaging Action during Mitigation.
