Apartments vary little in size and their location matters significantly. Unlike the other Domiciles, apartments can not be upgraded.
As an Upgrade
Apartments added to the other Domiciles create a comfortable space for one person to live privately. Adding an additional Storage Space such as a bedroom or another bathroom cost an additional Structure Kit and 4 Tiles of space but otherwise has no additional credit cost.
Storage Space
Most apartments have a personal bathroom, a bedroom, a kitchen, and a living space. These base elements are stocked and function as if fully equipped with all the basic items needed to use those Upgrades. Some apartments may have additional bedrooms and bathrooms depending on their expense, at the discretion of the Story Guide.
Upgrades
Upgrades are not allowed in Apartments. If the Apartment is part of another Domicile, they can be added to the “Area” of the space, but they are considered part of the structure of the Domicile.
