Latch
Clash Condition
When an Action calls for a Latch, they grab onto their Subject, Target, or Victim. The Action will state whether or not a Clash is required.
If they are the same size or larger than their Latch Subject, Target, or Victim, they may freely move them to an Adjacent Tile at the cost of 1 Action Slot. They may Drag them along with them 1 Tile at a time at the cost of 1 Action Slot. If this Forced Movement would move the Latch Subject, Target, or Victim into danger, they immediately gain a Clash to free themselves before Forced into the danger.
When the Target or Victim attempts to take a Movement Action of any kind or spends 1 Action Slot to free themselves, they have a Clash against the unit Latched to them. Winning the Clash allows them to move away 1 Tile, or push the unit Latched to them 1 Tile away from them.
If they are smaller than their Latch Target or Victim, then any time the Target or Victim moves, they are dragged along with the movement.
A Latch may be released at any time by the one imposing the Latched Condition.
