The skills to disarm, grapple, and throw opponents take some time to master, but are every bit worth the time to learn. Taking an enemies weapon, holding them in place, or putting them on the ground are all strategic advantages.
Disarm
Activation: 1AS|2RS|3FP
Reach: One Adjacent Target, (v:20 Accuracy vs. v:20 Agility)
Effects: When you win the opposed check, you slap a held weapon or object from your Target’s grip. The object flies in a direction of your choice up to 3.048m, 10ft.
Grapple
Activation: 2AS|3RS|4FP
Reach: One Adjacent Target, (v:20 Accuracy vs. v:20 Agility)
Effects: When you win the opposed check, you grab the target.
All Actions while grappled require Opposed Strength checks to determine success & failure.
As long as the Grappler wins the opposed check, they retain their grapple, and the grappled Target fails their action.
Movement is halved for all grappled parties.
Grappling requires at least one hand or two legs to maintain.

Throw & Disengage
Activation: 1AS|1RS|1FP
Reach: Up to 1 meter per Strength.
Effects: Disengaging from a Grapple takes 1 Action Slot. You may throw your grappled target by succeeding an opposed Strength Check. You throw the target up to 1 meter per Strength. With a successful (v:20 Accuracy) check, your thrown victim may hit a target and deal (Strength) damage.
Mastery: Effective Moves may improve Melee Prowess [i] Mastery up to 5
Each use of Effective Moves on a hostile Target increases Melee Prowess [i] Mastery by 1
