The Psion
Some time in the last century, those who displayed psionic powers were burned as the unnatural, as witches, warlocks, and out of fear for what they may become. Burned for the power they can hold over their fellow beings. One slipped through the cracks and in some ways proved the inquisitions right. A single Psion could in fact rule all of the world.
