Little Helper
You’ve got yourself the greatest toy. This is the little robot that could. Most Little Helpers are in the form of small animals. They have a grasper that is as dexterous as a human hand. They can carry up to 10 kilograms. They also have a two way speaker and microphone. So you can chat or listen in with the world near your Little Helper.
Specs: Little Helper uses your attributes for all of its abilities and effects, as it is as effective as the one who maintains it.
Remote Range: 2.5 Kilometers
Grasper: This can be imagined how you want, but the Little Helper may act as an extra hand, writing, typing, or organizing your room.
Offensive Capability: Little Helper may move up to 5m, 15ft each full round and make one attack. (v:20 Accuracy), (v:4 + Strength)
Defensive Capability: Little Helper has an Evasion of 12 + Awareness. Little Helper has a Durability of 5 x Awareness.
Charging: Little Help is solar powered and has an Arc Rod. Hitting Little Helper with the talent Arc charges its battery for 10 hours. Stronger Lightning effects such as Discharge will only do damage and not charge Little Helper.
Repair: Little Helper requires 1 minute of repair time for each point of lost Durability.
Mastery: Little Helper does not count against your connections for Drone Swarm. After your Little Helper has been active for 100 hours, you gain 1 Drone Swarm [i] Mastery.
Unit Connection
The collection of drones that operate in your cerebral connection web depends entirely upon your ability to control your Drone Swarm.
Passive, Drone Swarm: You may be actively connected to a maximum number of Drones equal to your Drone Swarm Mastery, up to Four. Pairing or sending an autonomous command to a Drone outside the actively connected Drones requires an activation and upload time. Actively connected drones do not require your action slots to act.
Range: The maximum radio range you may connect to a drone is 100m, 328ft. This range is centered on any willing Data Mind you have access.
Activation: 2AS|3AS|3FP
Effect: You either connect to or send one command to one drone you have previously paired with and have a current security key. The available commands depend on the Drone’s abilities. Drones act autonomously otherwise, meaning they don’t share in your action slots for their effects and actions.
Mental Stress: Activation (v:10)
Mastery: You gain 1 Drone Swarm [i] Mastery for each day you spend with your maximum number of connections.
Helper
If there was a ghost in a machine, yours is in this small automaton. You may have a thousand drones come and go, but the Little Helper was there at the beginning.
There have been cases of Data Mind Meltdown with the ceasing of functionality of Little Helpers. Much like losing an arm or a leg. The Little Helper becomes an extension of you.
The best part of Little Helpers is that they all seem to grow their own unique personality.
Mastery: Drone Swarm [i] 0-3 Mastery
At 1 Mastery, Able to pair with up to 1 drone.
At 2 Mastery, Able to pair with up to 2 drones.
At 3 Mastery, Able to pair with up to 3 drones.
Mastery: Drone Swarm [i] 4-5 Mastery
At 4 Mastery, Able to pair with up to 4 drones.
At 5 Mastery, Drone Swarm [ii] becomes unlocked.
Mastery Requisite: Drone Swarm [i] with 5 Mastery unlocks Drone Swarm [ii]
